After over 10 years use the old 15hp 2 stroke has been retired, much to the relief of my right arm, the 9.9 4 stroke is a little gem and still gets us along at just under 20 knots but the best thing is it's as quiet as a mouse (relatively speaking) and twice as economical, it's a little cracker

I had a 9.9 on an Avon rubber duck years ago and it fairly motored along. I used to take it out to a couple of mates trawlers off Maggie Island and fill it with prawns and bugs for the trip back home.
