Boomers by definition grew up in extremely prosperous times, found it easy to get good jobs with career potential, with minimal qualifications, already had a head-start before the bad times hit, and were able to buy real-estate before the escalations.
Fact is they are statistically the wealthiest generation Australia has ever known, and they are now mostly retired or retiring.

Obviously there are always individual exceptions to the rule, but we're not talking about individuals, we're talking about Boomers, which is by definition a collective.
