From an OEM engineering feat it deserves plenty of respect and is a fine motor in itself. It sits with the McLaren F1, Lexus LFA, 4.0 GT3RS and E46 M3. They're all high revving.
I'd still judge this 7.3L the same once it's given a tickle - it's still not an easy feat to achieve. I should know, I own a 100hp/L pushrod N/A.
