I'm probably a bit late for this, but (somewhat co-incidentally), my wife and I decided to try and lose a bit of weight starting in mid-January. At the time, I weighed a solid 90kgs. When I jumped on the scales this morning, I weighed approx. 82kg, (according to our scales). I actually had a medical examination last week (for a job I've applied for) and that set of scales had me at 80.1...

The "secret"? Large reduction in carbs and "junk" food (eg. Pizza and other take-away food),
lots less bread, and exercising 5 times a week (3 x times cardio, and 2 x intense weight workouts). So, I'm lighter, yet stronger than I was just 2 months ago. Bonus!
