While it’s at the Ford dealer, it’s probably relatively safe/secure.
If they’ve done no favours this far, at least stretch them for free storage so much as it suits. If you tow it home (assuming you’ve got secure parking) and then tow it elsewhere - that’s $500 gone. Whereas if you can find a diesel specialist that has a rapport with you, it could be one tow from Ford to them…
