Scratches are inevitable unless you live in a vacuum, and of course it stands to reason your car and cover needs to be clean. You will find micro scratches on any car if you delve deep enough.
If you buy a good car cover , use it correctly on a clean car you will get years of use without problems, i know this may not sit well with some purists but to each their own and cars cop a lot more damage on the road tahn they do under a cover.
