Yes, there is an online visa application process too. I went through this same process a couple of months ago. But it still has to be officially approved. It's not a press yes and get on the next plane.

If there ever was a so called "letter of exemption" for Djocovid, it was from Tennis AUSTRALIA. Not from the VIC gov. VIC gov have no authority. Neither does TA to be frank. And at seems so, as
Renata Voracova has also apparently used a letter she received from Tennis Australia, thinking it was an exemption from being fully vax'd, and has now also been put in the luxury 6 star hotel in Carton. So TA definitely has some explaining to do.
