Same as my diesel Focus, if it doesn't want to let you have throttle the pedal just does nothing and people perceive it as 'turbo lag' so you press it in further and it does nothing so you press it in further again then it suddenly goes **** driver wants throttle rev off my tits 
Seems to catch out Territory owners at roundabouts with how the throttle is mapped.
VF Commodore is hyper lazy too, it's why some people hate drive by wire cars because they perceive this how they all drive when in reality it's programmed that way on purpose for various reasons. |

Can be gearbox calibration as well, but rarely is it turbo lag.
Territories don't like going quickly from brake to throttle. Its another 'protection' in the software I believe.
