I use Bowdens snow foam and the pressure washer to clean my Mustang engine bay. I have also squirted a bit of degreaser around as well and use brushes on stubborn dirt like my Territory around the timing cover.
The worst engines for water getting in them are BA-BF Barras. You want to go easy on them with the pressure washer.
FG-FG-X they seemed to sealed up a lot better.
