Ford OE hose has a O-ring that fails and that is what causes the common leak. The O-ring is not replaceable. There's a USA made re-designed hose available where you can replace the O-ring if it starts to leak. Don't have to replace the entire hose assembly.

Thanks for sharing, I already bought a new hose from Repco. Was trying to install the new hose today, but can't remove it from the line retainer!
