For when my whipper snipper dies properly (fixed my 2 stroke and tuned the carb good, therefore im now an expert, done it once) id deffinately consider a makita battery skin as i roll with makita stuff for work and have 5 amp batteries on the go. For the mower, i think if my victa craps its dacks (not anytime soon, its a briggs and straton unit and runs great) id still sway towards a 4 stroke. Mainly because i have a lot of grass and dumping fuel into the tank takes less time then waiting for the batteries to cool off out of sympathy and charge time. Charge time is only 15 to 30 minutes with the newer stuff, but its still down time
