There are many different ways to do it and you will get 10 different opinions from 10 different people.

First of all, don't use a scraper. You will damage the paint.

Grab some fishing line (some people even suggest dental floss) and heat the badge while cutting behind the badge with the fishing line. You can also use something like wax and grease remover as some sort of lubricant on the paint so that it is less likely to scratch it. You will not get all of the glue off so you will need the wax and grease applied to a cloth and some buff the rest.
