I have used both quite a bit and prefer 2 poster over 4.if price is a problem,then maybe consider a used unit. Tecalmit screw type are good hoists ,but do need the lift nuts replaced after a fair bit of work.If you fitted new nuts you would never wear them out in home use.Molnar make a good hoist too,which at most might need a new lift cable or ram seals
