As a speculative asset, now that FPV/Tickford is gone, these cars could very well appreciate in time. They have to depreciate first however to kull the herd, if you will.
They've simply made too many FPV GT Falcons over the years for them to be worth a large amount of cash.
What I'm looking to do is start a collection of all the post-classic and modern domestically produced Fords. The ED Sprints, the 185KW EL XR8s, the E-series GTs, the 250KW Pursuit AU Ute, even some of the earlier XR6s in manual could be worth something in the future.
Comparing them to their Holden counterparts, they are undervalued.
