Stayed at the Bhanthai beach resort last year... great place.

I spent the majority of 8 days on the beach sinking beers... very relaxed holiday. Im heading back in November and staying at a different place, but plan on doing a couple more things this year.

If you are into golf there is some amazing golf courses, ends up costing about 200 AUS but you get club hire, shoe hire, cart, 18 holes, a caddy for the day (who knows everything about the course) couple of beers etc. And they are top quality courses.

I recommend you eat at some of the dodgy looking Thai restaurants instead of keeping your dining to the resorts. They are about 1/3 of the price and the food is much much better.
