Paul Stoddart tried that with Ozjet, and it was a massive flop.
Low cost carriers are here to stay unfortunately and they have changed the game forever.
Australians have become enormously stingey, and those that complain the loudest are always those passengers who paid less than half the cost for an economy ticket, or those who upgraded with points.
