On the way home from work this arvo a guy on a ducati tried a u-turn in front of me from the left lane (I was in the right lane) with no warning whatsoever. I barely had time to jump on the brakes.
I've owned the ute for 2 months and while I'm obviously glad the guy's ok (he was wearing all the right gear), I'm p!ssed!!
And car drivers cop grief for not looking out for bikes!!
I always thought ducati's sounded really nice, but you know what, all motorbikes sound the same when they're sliding down the road on their side.
Here's the result from my perspective, good thing for all concerned I didn't have a lot of speed onboard. The 2 & 1/2 week old bike is a little worse for wear.
