Jolt sound and feeling

When the automatic changed a gear from 2nd to 3rd as a automatic does, there is a jolt traveling sound (noticeable to the max) and feeling (noticeable to the max) go dwn the car, i thnk maybe the mount is gone? what do you guys say , and think, It is a 1994 Laser
