Yes i do think a locking fuel cap will deter dumb criminals. I would consider anyone that needs to steal fuel dumb. I would also call anyone that rubbishes people for trying everything they can to protect themselves dumb.

Hey, im not rubbishing anyone who tries to protect their possessions mate. I use a Club lock, Locking fuel cap and Lock Nuts on my wheels but i also realise that if anyone wants my car, a Club lock wont stop em. Likewise with the fuel and wheels.
